Shipping & Returns

Article 1 – Delivery

  1. Delivery will take place at the address specified by the Consumer within the Netherlands, unless stated otherwise.

  2. Beterbit strives to ship orders within 3-5 business days of receiving payment. Delivery times are indicative and not final deadlines.

  3. If a Product is temporarily unavailable, Beterbit will inform the Consumer as soon as possible and the Consumer can choose to cancel or postpone delivery.

Article 2 – Shipping costs

  1. Shipping costs are stated separately with the order and are the responsibility of the Consumer, unless otherwise stated in a promotion or offer.

  2. For orders over €99, Beterbit offers free shipping.

Article 3 – Risk and ownership

  1. The risk of loss or damage to the Product passes to the Consumer upon delivery.

  2. Ownership of the Product will only be transferred to the Consumer after full payment has been made.

Article 4 – Inspection upon receipt

  1. The Consumer must check the Product upon receipt for visible defects and any shipping errors.

  2. Any damage or deviations must be reported to Beterbit in writing within 48 hours of receipt.

Article 5 – Returns and cancellation

  1. Consumers have the right to cancel the order within 14 days after receipt without giving any reason.

  2. The Consumer must return the Product in its original condition, undamaged and complete.

  3. The costs for return shipping are borne by the Consumer, unless the Product is defective or incorrectly delivered.

  4. Beterbit will refund the purchase amount, including standard shipping costs, within 14 days of receipt of the returned Product.

  5. If the Product shows signs of use or damage that goes beyond what is necessary for assessment, Beterbit may charge an appropriate reduction in value.

Article 6 – Delivery refused or not collected

  1. If the Consumer refuses delivery or is not present upon delivery, Beterbit reserves the right to charge additional shipping costs.

  2. Beterbit may terminate the agreement if the Product cannot be delivered and may recover the costs of return transport from the Consumer.

Article 7 – Change of delivery address

  1. If the Consumer changes the delivery address after the order has been placed, Beterbit may charge additional costs for shipping.
